Iron Galaxy Studios was launching six employee resource groups (ERGs) as part of its DEIA initiative and needed logos that would be used to showcase the groups both internally and externally. I worked on the logos for the groups that supported our teammates who were black, women and latinx.

For ¡Unidos!, the group that included our latinx teammates, the challenge was to find something that was shared among the various cultures in Latin America. I decided to focus on the hand-painted signs found throughout North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean and Europe.

For the group that supported our black teammates, I looked to pop culture references that had unique typographic styles then presented some options.
